Michael helps. Michael Vernon is no stranger to visiting Ukraine . The last several trips included visits to orphanage summer camp program. This time it was a weeks trip to Kiev regional orphanages. Vernon was an orphan himself in Ukraine at one time from 6-12 years old . He was adopted. The trips to orphanage mean giving back to Vernon . As Vernon expresses with the feedback on latest experience visiting orphans, ” It’s about giving them hope , inspiring them by me being an example for them, letting them know that they need to make good choices in life, work hard and surround themselves with loving friends”. This time Vernon and his Uncle went to volunteer their time in the region of Kiev. Though a local ministry friend who runs a non profit “Freeway Kiev”. They decided to collaborate. The non-profit is there to support , contribute and educate the orphans about life skill, acquire basic knowledge to survive as an adult. Teach them to learn to be a productive, working citizen in life .
Kid Orphans. These efforts are short lived as the orphans do not have the needed adults to mentor them. This is the challenge for Vernon and the ministry . Not enough adults around to teach orphans the basic life skills needed to survive . The statistic, is that most orphans when turn 18, do not have the needed skills to survive a real world . Many boys and girls turn to drugs , young women get into prostitution and many die within 6 years from getting released from orphanages. Michael Vernon Spend Three of the days on the road traveling to the orphanages. Many road to the orphanages were practically non existent. In fact, while driving to Prolisok Orphanage, the road was blocked. They had to take a Long way around. The car ran out of gas .
While at the orphanage , this time he spend time with getting to know kids, Doing various Exercises , learning their languages and attempting to teach English . This was all and fun with the kids.
Chernobyl Nuclear Desaster. The reality was that Polisok Orphanage needed winter fortification, working showers and fresh water well. Prolisok Orphanage located is located within 45 miles form Chernobyl nuclear fallout.
To recap Chernobyl, it is internationally know for its nuclear fallout . Up to a million people had to evacuate within the week followed the reactor meltdown. This was in 1986. Today, Some people still feel the effect of the disaster . Not only did it create a national disaster but thousands of people died with many more to have serous health effect decades later . For those Safely reasons, living in the exclusion zone is illegal ; however, still around 130 to 150 people do. Many are women, still farming their ancestral land in their 70s and 80s. The main radioactive fallout from Chernobyl came in the form of iodine-131 and caesium-137. Caesium-137 has a half-life of 30 years before it decays.
While visiting orphanages in Kiev , spending time with kids , teaching them English and having a daily workout program was an essential bonding part of the program. Michael and his small family has donated everything they are able but he still needs your help . The fresh water well alone costs $1200 to build. He was able to donate funds for a working shower , food and supplies; however, he needs you help with fresh water well. A collaborate initiative with local non-profit organization is available below :
Bagehot and Lord St. John of Fawsley. We all agree that education is key to understanding the world and its many different components, as well as the belief that knowledge is power, so then why is it that the British Crown and the subsequent Crowns of Her Majesty’s Realms are so very little understood or educated about? Most people are not prepared to understand the entity of The Crown and its tangible and intangible abilities within the Westminster style of parliamentary democracy. It is a subject which takes years to recognize, understand and implement within the modern theory of government, as The Crown is not always seen in the day to day workings of government, but it is always there. Great men such as Bagehot and Lord St. John of Fawsley dedicated their careers and lives to understanding the British constitution and The Crown’s place within it, however there is a younger generation that have taken to carrying on the torch of their illustrious predecessors.
Professor Cris Shore and David V Williams. Though some of these modern-day observers, researchers and experts on The Crown may be professors of Anthropology, Sociology and other academic fields, others have used their history degrees as a starting point to understand and further research the components of the institution to bolster their own and others’ education about The Crown itself. With or without the PhD, those that have made a study of The Crown in all its forms and functions are in fact part of a highly specialized group of experts which are seen as authorities on the very institution and its somewhat elusive components and abilities. Referring to our resident Royal historian and expert, we engaged Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills, of the British Monarchists Society and Crown and Country Magazine, in conversation about a new book which has been released by Cambridge University press exploring the very subject of The Crown. The Shapeshifting Crown: Locating the State in Postcolonial New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK, edited by Professor Cris Shore and David V Williams, has been excitedly hailed by Mace-Archer-Mills as a “master tool which people should have to understand The Crown, its place in government and its basis as a tangible and intangible component to the workings of modern democracy”.
British Monarchists Society and Crown and Country Magazine. Mace-Archer-Mills further went on to explain, “the importance of understanding The Crown in its entirety will help further the lesser known attributes of the Crown as an entity and how it truly is the glue that binds the British system of governance together. The Crown holds politicians accountable to the people, as the people are a sovereign collective under the Queen whom wears The Crown both in its tangible and intangible forms.” In discussion with Mace-Archer-Mills about his knowledge of The Crown and the very subject of the newly released book on the topic, he went on to offer that he had in fact spent an afternoon with Professor Cris Shore during the spring of 2016, where deep discussion about The Crown and its shapeshifting abilities as a tangible and intangible entity in the modern era was had. Discussing The Crown over tea for hours on end, Professor Shore had previously reached out to Mace-Archer-Mills for the meeting, as Professor Shore considered him an authority on The Crown and thought of him to be a participant through discussion as a research subject for his book. It was referenced in communications that were sent without prejudice, that the conversations held between Mace-Archer-Mills and the Professor were helpful in framing the core arguments outlined within the book with specific reference to, “the final chapter which reflects on the future of The Crown and the merits of constitutional monarchy as a political system compared to republicanism and other kinds of regime”. Such arguments are precisely what Mace-Archer-Mills has educated and lectured about for years with respect to his work with the British Monarchists Society and his proximity to both Parliament and The Crown itself. To learn more about The Crown and its tangible and intangible qualities, as well as its shapeshifting abilities, we strongly encourage you to obtain a copy of this unique and highly educational book which casts open the truth behind The Crown, its meaning and its true function in government and society. “Factual and intersting”, reporter and book author His Highness Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe adds. The Shapeshifting Crown: Locating the State in Postcolonial New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK, edited by Professor Cris Shore and David V Williams is for sale via the Cambridge Press website or at Amazon.com

Savalas is a resident headlining performer and emcee for Postmodern Jukebox and just finished her residency in Las Vegas before heading to Hollywood for two special VIP performances. She was one of the original members of the successful group alongside Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Robyn Adele Anderson, and Morgan James. She tours with the band and has appeared in a number of the group’s YouTube videos. She is often referred to as The Pussycat and she is known for her risqué on-stage music and comedy. She has even been called the modern day Mae West and the Dita Von Teese of music, fusing her original songs with elements of traditional vaudeville, grand jazz and burlesque. She was described by Las Vegas Magazine as “the musical burlesque queen” and “the mistress of the modern Moulin Rouge”. Hollywoods leading event hosts Al Harris and Raquel Sanchez from KTM inc. express their love: “There ‘s no one out there more talented and cool, the only big problem is that Ariana is constantly booked so its hard to get a hold of her as a headlining event performer!”.
Sophisticated. Her first jazz album, “Sophisticated Lady”, is a combination of Savalas’ original compositions as well as two standards from the Great American Songbook, including the song Sophisticated Lady by Duke Ellington, Mitchell Parish, and Irving Mills which she named the record after. Savalas was widely known in the cabaret world headlining in venues such as the New York Friars’ Club and Michael Feinstein’s late New York cabaret Feinstein’s. In a departure from the traditional cabaret world, Savalas began incorporating her own music into her live shows, drawing influences from the Weimar Republic era of German Cabaret and the Moulin Rouge. Tonights Football Highlights:The Scene was set for a beautiful night of football at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, with a heated divisional rivalry between the 4-3 Dallas Cowboys and the 2-6 New York Giants. The Cowboys needed to beat the Giants in order to remain at the top of the division after the Eagles Sunday win against the Chicago Bears.
Best Running Backs. The one match up I was looking forward to seeing was the battle between the elite running backs Ezekiel Elliot and Saquon Barkley. Ezekiel Elliott entered Monday’s game with 602 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns, while Barkley entered the game with 373 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Saquon did miss some game time due to an injury he suffered in the week three win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
First Play Pick. Dak Prescott had a rough start as the first play of the game was an interception by Antione Bethea giving the Giants great field position, but the cowboys’ defense came up big and kept Daniel Jones and the New York Giants short of the end zone forcing the Giants to settle for a field goal.
Field Goals. After trading field goals the Giants broke the tie with a one yard passing touchdown to Cody Latimer, followed by a missed extra point attempt by Aldrick Rosas.
Another Turnover. For a second it looked as if the Cowboys were going to go down the field and score but then on a 3rd and five play Jabrill Peppers forced a fumble on a passing play to Randall Cobb, and the ball was recovered by Antione Bethea.
More Field Goals. After the turnover the Giants took advantage with a long series that resulted in a field goal bringing the score to 3-12 in favor of the Giants.
Touchdown. The Dallas Cowboys came back with Dak Prescott throwing a 42-yard touchdown to tight end Blake Jarwin bringing the score to 10-12
Picked Off. During the following drive Daniel Jones was picked off by Xavier Woods. The Cowboys ended the half with a 52-yard field goal by Brett Maher taking the lead 13-12.
Turnover. After trading punts at the beginning of the second half Daniel Jones tried to rush for the first down on a 3rd and six fumbling the ball after a hard hit by Woods. The ball was recovered by the defense giving the Cowboys good field position.
Another Field Goal. Off the turnover the cowboys took advantage of the good field position. Setting up an easy field goal for Brett Maher the Cowboys extended their lead to 16-12.
Monday Night Fights. Tempers flared up as Daniel Jones was pushed close to the sideline by Xavier Woods causing Jones to fall backwards into a sound guy. Even with the taunting penalty on Woods the Giants couldn’t find the end zone and settled for a field goal.
Tick For Tack. After the amazing catch and run by Michael Gallup to score a touchdown, the Giants weren’t ready to roll over. Saquon Barkley broke off a 65-yard reception to bring the Giants to the Cowboys five-yard line. After the explosive gain the defense didn’t budge an inch and Rosas kicked his fourth field goal of the game.
Runaway. The fourth quarter was all Cowboys as they continued to run up the score with a touchdown pass to Amari Cooper. Amari Cooper joined the Cowboys last season, and has looked like a true number one wide receiver since arriving.
Going Down Swinging. It was a hard-fought game. A lot of words and emotions were left on the field. The referees having to break up a handful of fights. Reminisce of the old Giants and Cowboys. The Giants looked like they had a fighting chance early, but once the cowboys worked out a few kinks, they rolled to an easy victory in the second half. The Cowboys knock out the Giants and remain number one in the NFC east.

Sanctuary Is Fashion. Sanctuary Fashion Week makes its mark on the fashion week game yet again with its latest epic installment of what has been called the most unique and theatrical fashion week going these days. This must be due to the Sanctuary mission of creating such creatively encompassing platform for all types of creators such as the visual arts, music, dance, and, of course, fashion. Their inspiring and inclusive fashion week events are set against a backdrop of historic gothic cathedrals and cater to both a high end, as well as an emerging talent crisis of attendees.
Tough Competition. Boasting such a lineup of talent is now incredibly rare, but what certainly is different from most fashion week productions is their penchant for creating an almost theatrically inspired series of shows and performances that typically leave the onlookers in awe. Since the last Mercedes Benz fashion week in Bryant Park in NYC, the fashion week production industry has splintered off into countless entities, each having their own distinct way of presenting each seasons fashion trends in numerous markets. Sanctuary Fashion Week, however, seems to have taken the historically unchanged template and breathed a new light, a sincerity and an intimacy into it. A welcome addition to such a vibrant industry and a fantastic model that some other fashion week production companies are already emulating.
A Royal Host. During fashion week in Los Angeles in October, dynamic duo and founders of Sanctuary Fashion Week, Sir Kenn and Sir Korrie Gray Hayes, produced 16 high end designer fashion shows and had 8 musical and dance performances by well known artists. Hollywoods Celebrity Anchor His Highness Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe was the host of the prestigious event.
Top Designers. By all accounts, the series of shows was memorable and left front row celebs and other attendees wanting more and inspired by the fashion forward collections presented. Some of the designers included; Ritual, Dell Scott, Dur Doux, Lindie Sayman Couture, & Love Baby J.
Disney and Lifetime Celebrities. Hip Celebrities even come in scores to be a part of both Sanctuary Fashion Week and their newly launched Sanctuary Magazine such as Aaron Spellings Melrose Place Star Jamie Luner (she received standing ovations after Prince Mario-Max welcomed her), Larry Namer the E! Television Founder, Disney notables Ava and Alexa Kolker, Txunamy, Solage Ortiz, Julia Garcia, Joelle Better, Kyra Lyn, Madison Freidman, as well as stars like Aaron Paul, Gustavo Gomez, Amanda Holley, MotoeHaus, Sangeeta Kaur, and many others.
