He navigated the complex harmonies of Bach, the romantic melodies of Chopin, and even ventured into the realm of contemporary compositions, pushing the boundaries of what we expect from the accordion.

The presence of a 35-piece orchestra undoubtedly elevated the performance to new heights. The interplay between the solo instrument and the orchestral accompaniment was breathtaking, creating a dynamic tapestry of sound that ebbed and flowed with each movement. One could envision moments of delicate intimacy where Chebeliuk’s accordion soared above the strings, followed by powerful crescendos where the full force of the orchestra joined in a harmonious crescendo.

Beyond the technical mastery, it’s easy to imagine the emotional depth that Chebeliuk and the orchestra brought to the stage. The Ebell Theatre, with its rich history and intimate atmosphere, provided the perfect setting for a performance that touched the soul.
