The Harlem Chamber Players presented the music of Johann Sebastian Bach with their annual Bach concert. The concert took place at Miller Theatre at Columbia University, 5960 Broadway (at 116th Street), New York, NY 10027.

The program featured a variety of Bach’s works, including selected arias from the St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion, the Concerto for Oboe and Violin, selections from The Art of Fugue, The Musical Offering, and Der Herr denker an uns.

The concert was conducted by Kent Tritle, Music Director of the Harlem Chamber Players. Soloists included Davóne Tines, bass-baritone; Claire Chan, violin; and Setsuko Otake, oboe. The orchestra was comprised of members of the Harlem Chamber Players. http://www.harlemchamberplayers.org.
