Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe: Bayville Scream Park Returns With 5 Haunted Houses, Zombie Mini Golf and Axe Throwing

Think your date can handle this? Bayville Scream Park is back for spooky season, and it’s bringing the full haunted-house arsenal: five immersive haunted houses, creepy characters lurking around every corner, themed food and bars, plus optional extras like zombie mini golf and axe throwing. It’s the kind of night out that sorts the brave from the screamers within about ten minutes.

Five Haunted Houses

The centerpiece is the lineup of five immersive haunted houses, each with its own theme and its own way of getting under your skin. Professional scare actors, detailed sets, and that specific Bayville commitment to making you regret your life choices — in the best way. Go with people whose reactions you want to remember.

Zombie Mini Golf and Axe Throwing

Need a breather between haunts? The park’s optional experiences include zombie mini golf — putting through a course where the obstacles might be undead — and axe throwing for working out any lingering nerves. They’re the perfect palate cleansers between houses, or a full evening on their own if haunted houses aren’t your thing but your friends dragged you along anyway.

Themed Food and Bars

Fuel up at the park’s themed food stands and bars, which lean into the spooky-season spirit. Liquid courage is a time-honored haunted house strategy, and Bayville makes it easy.

Good to Know

Bayville Scream Park runs on select dates through November 7th, 2026, at 8 Bayville Ave in Bayville, NY — an easy trip out on Long Island. Tickets are timed-entry, and popular nights can sell out, so booking ahead is smart, especially for October weekends. Check the park’s official channels for the full schedule and ticket options.

So — who’s brave enough to go first through the haunted house? Tag your crew, pick a night before November 7th, and find out. Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe: 41st Annual Bronx Halloween Parade Takes Over the Bronx on October 24

The Bronx knows how to do Halloween — and this year the borough is going bigger than ever. The 41st Annual Bronx Halloween Parade is set for Saturday, October 24, 2026, with the lineup kicking off at 12:00 PM.

This year’s theme, “Carnival of Nightmares — The Greatest Fear on Earth,” sets the tone for one of New York City’s largest Halloween celebrations. Thousands of spectators are expected to line the streets as costumed marchers, marching bands, dance groups, and performers take over, joined by community organizations, car clubs, and floats built for maximum fright.

Want to be in it? Registration to participate is open right now — head to BronxHalloweenParade.com and hit the Registration tab in the top left to sign up. Businesses interested in sponsoring the parade can reach out to Events@BXCB2.Events. And yes, the show goes on rain or shine.

Pair it with the season’s other spooky highlights: our roundup of 20 haunted houses in and around NYC covers professional scare attractions and home haunts across the boroughs, and the weekend events guide for October 2–4 has even more to fill your calendar before Halloween.
