The Princess Grace Award provides winners with a $15,000 grant, while Honoraria recipients receive $1,500, all as unrestricted cash prizes to directly support their artistic endeavors. Additionally, a Playwriting Fellowship is offered through a partnership with New Dramatists.The Special Project Grant supports past Princess Grace Award winners and Honoraria recipients, enabling them to further their creative growth through impactful projects. This grant underscores the Foundation’s commitment to the continued development of artists who have already made significant contributions to the arts but are at a pivotal point in their careers.

The Grace Kelly Scholarship for Thespian Excellence, supported by the Victory Foundation, fosters emerging theater talent at the high school level. In collaboration with the Educational Theatre Foundation, these scholarships provide essential resources and guidance, offering a 4-year college scholarship paired with a Princess Grace Award mentor, and a one-time artistic training scholarship for high school students. This scholarship ensures that aspiring artists have the resources and financial backing to refine their skills and pursue their dreams.

Reintroduced this year, the Princess Grace Statue Award is a distinguished accolade recognizing sustained excellence and significant contributions to the arts. Established in 1985 to honor the enduring impact of artists who have excelled in their disciplines and inspired future generations, this award is bestowed upon previous Princess Grace Award winners who have achieved distinction in their chosen field of theater, dance, or film. The Statue Award includes a $25,000 unrestricted cash grant and a bronze statue of Princess Grace by artist Kees Verkade.

New York, New York, It’s a Royal State of Mind! From Times Square Chronicles 

Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe 4th of July: The Big Apple has always been a magnet for the rich and famous, but lately, it seems like royalty has been particularly keen on taking a bite. Move over, Lady Liberty, there are new crowns in town!

Just last year, we saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, making a splash in Manhattan. Whether they were attending the Global Citizen Live concert or cheering on the New York Knicks at a basketball game, the couple brought their touch of royal glamour to the city that never sleeps.

Wednesday, October 23rd 2024, it is time to raise a glass to the royals of Monaco to celebrate the 2023 and 2024 Princess Grace Award winners. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, whom I treasure as the nicest and most wonderful head of state and philanthropist always helping others – we go way back for decades when i lived full time in the stunning Principality of Monaco – will Grace the Gala at the Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue with his presence.

The Princess Grace Awards are a unique blend of cultures and traditions, and brings the elegance of refined arts and artists together under the auspices of Monaco’s Royalty. This social and charitable gathering proofs 2024 once more that New York is the greatest city in the world. Cheers!
